T-Mobile and VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava have completed the construction of the first private 5G campus network in the Czech Republic. The network was launched in 2020 and currently operates in full 5G SA mode in C-band and mmWave. Students, researchers, academics, and companies interested can use private campus 5G network for applications needed low latency communication, high transmission speed and high security and reliability.
The 5G campus network covers the University campus, including Laboratory of Wireless Communications, Smart Factory Lab and Robotics Centre.
